Hey there - I’m Coach Kris! I’m super excited that you are interested in Sports Performance Coaching!
Let me ask you a question. Have you ever experienced one or more of the following during training, practice, or game?
- Become tired - feel the energy draining out of your body
- Lightheaded or feel like you wanted to puke or did puke
- All of a sudden you can’t catch, swing, dribble, or make good passes - loss of coordination
- Unfocused - can’t keep your head in the game
- Become angry all of a sudden (hangry)
These are all signs that you’re not eating the right foods to support your body throughout the entire game.
The good news is I am here to help you figure out exactly which foods work well with your body so you can consistently have high energy and focus.
When you achieve this - your sports performance will increase leaps and bounds!
Even if you eat well and are playing at a high level now, there’s ALWAYS room for improvement.
An elite athlete is always looking for ways to improve. If an elite athlete thinks “I’m a natural talent” or “I’ve made it” and does not continue to look for ways to improve - this is a dangerous mindset. The underdog working their ass off will overtake the elite athlete - it’s only a matter of time.
If you want to be challenged outside your comfort zone, and looking to increase your sports performance, strengthen your mindset, and reduce injury - I am your coach.
Here’s how it works, you’ll go through four phases:
- Sports Nutrition
- Game Preparation
- Building a Strong Mindset
- Minimizing Injury
Our meetings will occur virtually on Zoom. The first session will be getting to know each other, setting short and long term goals, and I’ll give you an individual nutrition guide based on your sports goals.
Once we conquer nutrition and you’re feeling super confident in fueling your body for high energy performances, then we’ll move on to game preparation.
You’ll learn my T - 48 Method that gets you dialed in for game day. Two days before competing, you’ll work on dialing-in on nutrition, hydration, mindset, and sleep so that you are solid on when it’s go time.
Building a Strong Mindset:
The next phase is Mindset Training, where we work on overcoming any internal and external distractions that keep you from competing at your highest level.
In this phase, we also explore what it means to have an alter ego (higher self) to call upon when the stakes are high, and everything is on the line for the win.
You’ll also set intentions for each practice, training, or game that you want to achieve, instead of just going through the motions. If you’re going to reach your goals - you have to be intentional about them!
The last phase is Minimizing Injury; we explore different ways to help your body rest and recover and what supplements to consider to protect your brain, bones, muscles, tendons, and ligaments.
